Three new fleets to wear, a shop worth browsing, and a currency with a name
New5
- Three second looks to buy: the USSC for the Cordon, the Halvern Choir for the Graft, and The Scaffold for the Ingot Works. Every hull, world, troop and shot wears it.
- Each of the three flies differently and says so on its card: the USSC holds station in blocks and fires flat and fast, the Choir turns broadside over a world, the Scaffold holds the slowest orbit in the game.
- The Shop is one scrolling shelf — Skins, Insignia, Races, Doctrines, Ordnance, each its own section — with every tile wearing its own price.
- The currency has a name and a medal: a Commendation. Your balance sits in the top-right corner from now on, and pressing it opens the Shop.
- Right-clicking the board opens the game's own menu instead of the browser's.
Improved4
- Tapping a thing you cannot afford tells you exactly how short you are and how to earn the rest, instead of doing nothing.
- How rare a thing is now reads off its card at a glance — a ring, a wash and pips — with the word itself saved for the moment you buy.
- Buying something shows you the thing full size first, and takes two deliberate presses, so nothing is spent by a stray click.
- Cards stop being sliced through their own name on a landscape phone.
Balance2
- A second look for a whole fleet costs real play now instead of a single Commendation, and an insignia gated behind a high level costs far more to buy early. Every one of them still opens free the moment you reach its level.
- Invaders now share one world's ground capacity: alone you land on 70% of it, and every extra empire fighting there divides that share. A beachhead can no longer be won by dropping troops forever.
Fixed2
- Every Halvern Graft fortress turret was aiming ninety degrees away from what it was shooting.
- Half of a besieged world was invisible to its own ground targeting, so troops stood next to enemies they never engaged.
Version 1.1.0 — 16 September 2026
A sky over the galaxy, a siege that keeps up, and a coach for your first match
New5
- Every star now sits in a glowing dust cloud, and the sky behind the galaxy reads as a real nebula.
- A quick-start coach opens your first matches, points you at the nearest cheap world, and bows out once you have taken three.
- A world you do not hold now tells you what is stopping your troops: break its shield and armour before anything can land.
- One Shop sells every unlock, and Achievements and Match History moved into the corner beside your profile.
- Build rows say what each building actually does, on hover or on tap.
Improved8
- Single-player setup is five questions with sliders. Pick the table size and press START.
- A big empire thinking no longer stops the game for a fifth of a second, and dialogs open sooner.
- Ground troops walk at their own speed and landings arrive in waves sized to what is defending the world.
- CONTINUE shows a loading screen and warms the board, so you drop back into the match smoothly.
- The endgame's wake-up time and strength now follow the bot difficulty you picked.
- Build cards show a live progress sweep, with role colours that still read in colour-blind mode.
- Instructions now teach how to give orders, and work on a touch screen.
- Levelling no longer stops dead at 999, and cosmetic unlocks no longer hold back anything you play with.
Balance2
- A domination win now needs 80% of the galaxy instead of 50%.
- Taking a world is quicker: ground troops walk two thirds faster than they did, and every ground hit lands 35% harder.
Fixed12
- The map no longer stutters a minute into a match, and one bad frame no longer spoils the rest of the session.
- Ground battles keep pace with the fight in orbit instead of finishing minutes after you won it.
- Panels, tooltips and coach cards stop covering each other or falling off a small window.
- Ships you never shot at stop flashing red when you scroll past them.
- The Precursors wear the same violet everywhere — strongholds, flag, map and cards finally match.
- A blocked mine ring is clearly red again, and still pulses for colour-blind players.
- Rail guns: one press buys one level at one price, cancelling refunds it, and a queued level comes back.
- Quitting before the first autosave no longer loses CONTINUE.
- Quitting and continuing a match no longer pays out its rewards twice.
- Signed-in progress saves reliably instead of failing while you play.
- The board ignores hotkeys while a dialog owns the screen.
- Sound unlocks on your first tap and stops warning about autoplay.
Version 1.0.0 — 13 September 2026
First release
New4
- Nexas Code 2D launches: a browser 4X you can finish in one sitting, against up to 30 AI commanders.
- One continuous zoom from the galaxy map, into a star system, down to a real-time ground battle.
- Three races with their own weapon physics and their own Titan.
- Achievements, a match record, and a commander who levels up across matches.
Fixed1
- The interface resizes properly on smaller desktop windows, and empire names stop being cut off.
Galaxy to ground, one continuous zoom
Scroll out and you are reading a galaxy map. Scroll in and it unfolds into a single star system. Keep going and you are standing on the planet, watching a real-time ground battle for the bunker. No loading screens between the three.
A 4X match that fits in a coffee break
You take your first world in under a minute. The research ladder, doctrine drafting and planet specialisation are all there — they just resolve in the time a grand-strategy game spends on its tutorial.
Up to 30 commanders on one map
Solo matches run at 4, 8, 16 or 30 AI commanders, and you take your first world inside the first minute either way. Live multiplayer is not out yet — every commander on the board today is a bot you have to out-think.
Runs in the tab you already have open
No installer, no launcher, no account required to play. It is a WebGL build that starts on a laptop, a Chromebook or a phone held sideways.
